Meet the Team - Rebecca Heatherley

We thought that you'd like to get to know our HR Business Partner, Rebecca Heatherley, Assoc. CIPD a little better. Over to Becs...

For those of you reading this that haven’t worked with me before, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Rebecca, Becs if you know me well, and I am an HR Business Partner at The Ink Group.

So, how did I get here?

I started my people-oriented career as a nervous, apprentice receptionist for a local recruitment firm in 2014. I was soon challenged with heading out into the wider world, visiting temporary staff and their employers in the workplace; tasked with finding solutions for all manner of problems. It was there that I found my passion for working with people and the many different variabilities and complexities that this brings with it.

I am an extremely sociable person. I like talking problems through, finding solutions and helping others to develop, so as you can see, HR just made sense!

As my career in HR developed, I began working towards my CIPD qualifications by attending evening classes and my career started to progress. I have worked my way up from an HR Administrator to my present role as an HR Business Partner at Ink. I have recently celebrated working for 3 years at The Ink Group, where I have solidified my skills as an HR professional, developed some really rewarding relationships with our clients, (let’s hope they think so too!) and even dabbled in payroll operations.

Outside of the office I can be found weightlifting in the gym, attending dance classes (I have been attending the same dance school since I was just 4 years old!) or planning my next holiday. I also enjoy competitively sharing wordle scores with my Dad.
