Hermitage is a group comprising 4 distinct software development companies in different areas in the UK. We have been working with Hermitage since 2017, providing an integrated service of HR, Payroll and Employee Benefits.
The business owners have been keen to allow each of the group companies to retain their unique identities and style. However, to support an efficient and effective central operating structure, it has been important to create certain harmonies around policies, procedures and employment benefits.
We have worked closely with Hermitage to create that harmony. We have audited each company’s document suite and benefit offering and aligned it to a consistent standard. We have created online HR profiles for each company and for each employee and we manage the administration of these in liaison both with the main group and with the relevant company. Line managers come directly to us for the preparation and issuing of new starter contracts and onboarding packs, and to discuss general HR matters whenever they need advice and guidance.
Under this uniform and harmonised structure our Employee Benefits team has been able to broker preferential terms for the group’s generous reward package. We are also able to manage the administration of those benefits in a streamlined way, without data needing to travel across multiple service providers.
