In 2020, The Ink Group were appointed by Good Logistics Group to update their Group Pension arrangement and effectively communicate the changes to their employees, with a bespoke communication plan to include face-to-face presentations with staff at 9 UK sites. After successful trips to the Plymouth and Cardiff offices, the national lockdown came into force and we had to totally rethink our strategy.
Working with the Good Logistics team, we devised a new communications plan and delivered a series of webinars that could be accessed online at any time and posted regular blogs on the company’s intranet to deliver the message. This innovative approach worked well and subsequently, we have recorded additional webinars about pension planning and encouraged staff to register online with the pension provider.
We hope to return to face-to-face presentations in 2021, but the success of these virtual events and finance-related blogs means that we will continue to incorporate these tools as part of our communications strategy within the Good Logistics Group and other clients in the future.
